Virtual Cub Scouts Learn About Archaeology

Today, the ROMA Archaeology exhibit was visited by around 25 virtual Cub Scouts interested in learning about archaeology.

The ROMA Archaeology exhibit is located inside the virtual world of Second Life and illustrates the principles of archaeological excavation and study through the recreation of a trench.  Ten interactive stations explain archaeological concepts such as excavation, stratigraphy, finds processing, and ecofacts.

The cub scouts were from the Camp Kawabata group, the oldest virtual scouting group on the grid.  ROMA was very glad to welcome them!
